Incentives for ENERGY STAR® Manufactured Homes

Appalachian Power Company (APC) is providing incentives to encourage the purchase of new ENERGY STAR® Certified Manufactured Homes within its Virginia service area. The total incentive of $1,400 per home is split between the Homebuyer, Home Retailer and HVAC Distributor.

Requirements & Process for Collecting the Rebate
Period of Eligibility

Virginia homes certified (installed) on or after January 1, 2021 to December 15, 2022


APC VA Service Area Map (PDF)
 
Rebate Amount $700 paid by APC VA to Homebuyer
$600 paid by SBRA to Home Retailer or Community
$100 paid by SBRA to HVAC Distributor
Eligible Service Area The home must be located in APC's service area in Virginia. Use the Zip Code Lookup Tool to verify that the home is located in APC's area (map).
Requirements
  • Electrically heated ENERGY STAR Manufactured Home
  • Retail Sold
  • Have a heat pump installed
  • Be installed at a customer site (display models are not eligible)
  • Be completed on site between January 1, 2021 and December 15, 2022
  • Power turned on and connection to APC Virginia residential electric service verified
